If they have the correct sizes and formulation (K for Ferrari) I would go with the 4S as thats a newer tire. Early word from friends who have compared them to the MPSS is they are much better. (No surprise, they are the new model!)

There is a nice review comparing the top tires.
MP4S was found to be the overall winner, edging out the P tire, albeit by the thinnest of margins.

The new Pirelli P Zero (4?) is supposed to be really great also.

My Volvo S60 Polestar came with PSS, a tire I also ran on my M3s (2004 & 2008). Switched to PS4S when it was time to replace. Have about 7K on them. So far, quieter and a shade more responsive. I do not track my car, but I have heard of instances where the PS4S is not as tolerant of heavy repeated side loads as the PSS causing damage to the tire.

I am under the impression that the MP4S is a little lighter than the P tire.
This was the case with the MPSS vs the PZero for the 458.
I assume it may be the case for the 812 and the MP4S vs P4

Please chime in if you know the tire weight

Anyone know if the MP4S is or will be available with K (Ferrari) specification?

I need them for the F12 Berlinetta oem size:

    Front: 255/35 R20
    Rear : 315/35 R20

Only availability in this size with K specification is the older MPSS which I used in the past.

Nice wheels. Love the P104's. I have them on my Turbo S. Can't wait to see them on your FF.

I just replaced my stock p zeros with the sport 4S. Hard to describe how amazing the difference is. Handling and ride are so much better I feel like I have a real Ferrari . My recommendation is to run, don’t walk to your sport 4S

K labeled 4S aren't cheap (500ish a corner) but they certainly are the best. I just paid an eye watering 565 each for two 315/35 rears for my new wheels

K means nothing in terms of quality. They are just different. It is also worth noting that the tyres are model specific. Go ahead and install the K2 MPS4S in 245/35,-R20 on an F8. It will understeer all the way into next week.

As for price. Unless you let your Ferrari dealer rob you, K spec does not have to be more expensive. 500 is actually a good price for that tyre. It's less than the non-oem variant.
