Hi gang. Need advice for recommended tire pressures for leisurely drives, I don't track my 360 Modena. I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires on HRE 19" rims.

    Front: 255/30-ZR19
    Rear: 305/30-ZR19

Michelin states max pressure, but I don't have a clue what the optimal recommended pressure should be.
    Thanks!

36 front and rear should be a good starting point.

That is pretty high. I would have started with more like 32 psi front and rear.

I run Nitrogen at 31 psi cold. builds up to 34 warm. Anything higher rides like steel wheel on rough pavement. 430 Stock sizes.

Open the driver door and inflate to the specs on the plate.

Running lower psi risks rim damage but up to the driver.

I run 32 front 35 rear cold. If I’m not mistaken, the manual for the 430 states that if your car came with Pirelli's, the recommended pressures are 32F/32R, if Bridgestones 33F/36R, if Michelins 32F/35R, and if Goodyear run-flats 36F/36R. I’m running Michelins on 430 factory wheels, so I run 32F/35R.

Googled your tires to be next
Front: XL loadindex 91/ 1356lbs maxload AT 42psi
Rear XL loadindex 102/ 1874lbs maxload AT 42 psi.
This is for up to 160kmph/99mph, for higher speed you need more pressure.

Can make you a pressure/loadcapacity list for both tires for 99mph and using 90% of the loadcapacity belonging to the pressure.
This gives highest reserve with still acceptable comfort and gripp. Can also make for other max speeds, and reserves.

Then you "only" have to determine the load in axles acurately, and search that back in the list.
Succes with that, the most tricky part in it all.

How wide are your wheels? Also do you have a pic of how the tire looks on the wheels?

Also about rimmwidth for tirewidth and aspect ratio, I did research
ETRTO " allows" on 305/30 rimwidth of between 10inch and 11.5 inch, measure rimm( is ideal) 11 inch
The 255/30, between 8.5inch and 9.5 inch, measure rimm 9 inch.

    Now see what topicstarter has

Sj- There are no specs for MPS4S tires on the tire data stickers. Ferrari's tire pressure recommendations are all empirical based on testing for each tire type.

I'm shocked you can fit 255 in front, I assume fenders rolled. 32 should be good.

    Here the pressure/ axleload list
For max speed 160kmph/99mph, wich you wont go over for even a minute.
Then 90 % used of the loadcapacity, belonging to the pressure, so dont go adding reserve yourselfes.

Carmakers often use GAWR and maximum technical carspeed to calculate the pressure for, but no reserve added.
But nowadays more often yust reference-pressure of standard load 35 or 36psi, and XL/reinforced /Extraload 41 or 42psi, wich is then mostly much higher then needed to prefent overheating.

I have Novitec NF2 wheels on my 360. 245/35/19 front 29psi, 345/30/19 rear 26 psi. This has worked well for 5 years. Thanks Jadatis for all that info.

Thanks for the advice. The sticker inside the passenger door is no help as that is for original spec wheels and tires.

I do not have any fender running. I will start at 32 and take it from there.

    JADATIS - you are amazing.

Can make lists for those sises too if you like. Most likely also XL. most ZR low aspect ratio tires are XL.
This larger sise expected higher maxload, so lower pressure justified.

Ive swapped from pirelli corsa to pilot sport cup 2 connect and on both running 32psi, which is what is says on door card
Id imagine if michelin dont recommend a pressure then the door card is good advice

If you keep same sises as OEM from orher brand, maxload and referencepressure is the same, so recomended pressure on car can be held.
