Hey, According to SI, his "pre-training breakfast" at the local greasy spoon (Pete's grill in Baltimore) comprises: - 3 egg omelet - A bowl of grits - 3 slices of French toast with powdered sugar - 3 chocolate chip pancakes - 3 fried egg sandwiches with cheese, lettuce, tomato, fried onions and mayo This "dish" was apparently offered to allcomers (at $19.95) during the olympics - Usually ordered by a group of people but the one guy who tried it alone complained of "pretty severe" stomach pains. [No ****!] Had to share, Cheers, Ian
i'm a big guy, and i can definitely eat, but i don't think i could do all that. speaking of the article this came from, he was named sportsman of the year by si, the article's a good read
That guys metabolism is incredibly high. He's probably reducing his life span by raising it that much...
I believe he said he consumes upwards of 8,000 calories a day when he's training. I wish I could afford to eat that much (cleanly at least).
Damn, that sounds so good right now...I'm so hungry. Add a bacon weave and everyone would be down to eat it. That's cheap too. $20.00 for all that food. I think I'm going to go eat.
That's a pretty normal breakfast for someone who is in training. He's going to burn alot more cal. then he's taking in right there.
I never said the entire thing. I doubt I would be able to even eat 1/8th of it. I weigh like 110lbs, I'm 5' 3". Short.
Well, I'll grant you it's low carb Guess you'll lose weight on that diet, up until you croak, that is...
