It would be more newsworthy if that idiot ever got any facts right. His "movies" are full of false information, misleading, misreported, and twisted statements - he decides on a point to make, and twists whatever he must to make the point. He produces fiction and propoganda, not documentaries or even commentaries.

I've never liked Moore. I remember his first docs way back in the 90's.

The only thing you can knock Toronto on is the weather!!! I hate the winter there or Id still be in Ontario.

He's not trash Toronto - he is talking about Toronto's trash - clearly we do send our industrial waste to Detroit area - from there - who knows where it goes - I don't??

We may well contribute to their woe's??, especially after Walkerton - just cause somewhere to ship is cheaper - we should be aware of the end result.

If we are shipping to Flint - best Canadian I can do ...

    Sorry :)

Certain parts of the US are now officially third world. Of course Moore is angry that his home town has been utterly decimated and is venting his frustration. People on here would be doing the exact same thing.

Half my family is from a town ravaged by a boom-and-bust cycle that left it far worse off than Flint. Not one them was compelled to make a string of dishonest movies as a vent for their frustration.

So much for pretending that everyone would "be doing the exact same thing."

P.S. no part of the US is "officially third world."

Flint bid to get our garbage. They wanted it. They won the bid, and so we send our trash there. Mr Moore leaves that part out. You can buy house in flint for 14k if anybody is interested btw. Highest price is 249k. Investors?

Toronto weather is a walk in the park.

The 24/7 traffic congestion, on the other hand, makes me wonder how anyone can live there.

As long as you don't have to work, it's easy to get around.

Just avoid the rush hour from Monday - Saturday from 6am-11am and 3pm-9pm and it's fine
