I think the wall covering in the kitchen is awful. I like the bones of the house.
He was driving this a few weeks ago in Champaign, IL. His son is a freshman at the UofI... Image Unavailable, Please Login
yep really ugly and it just doesnt work... i hope it was not mjs house, i would lose a little more respect for him
I still think he'll do fine. I wonder why he didn't get a pre-nup (I believe he was in his fourth or fifth season in the NBA when he got hitched).
I'm pretty sure he gets around 30 million a year from his contract with Nike alone. That house is very nice but not something out of the ordinary. I don't personally love the architecture either, however different strokes for different fokes and thats ok by me.
MJ is suprisingly visible here in Chicago. He and his manager pretty regularly frequent one of the bars across the street from my house, which is a few blocks from the shop on the northside of town where Markpeboxer's is worked on. He will parallel park his 599 right on the street in front of the bar. Neighbor of mine mentioned he is building a house down the street taking up 3-4 lots. G
He seems to be passionate about cars, i am a bit surprised that theres no supercar in his collection.
Here is some more info on the house in the original post: http://www.atlantafinehomes.com/property.php?fmlsid=3505819 It is on Lake Lanier north of Atlanta, but I don't beleive it every belonged to MJ. Its a nice place, but not my style.
Last I knew he had a white 959 given to him by the owner of Oakley sunglasses. One of the 4 illegal 959s Fritz imported. Origianl owners with Lauren, Larry Hendrick (not the NASCAR one), Dr. Stone, SF, and one other. All were converted to the 550 HP update in NC.
That house is nasty IMO. The sin of ornamentation. Lake Norman in Charlotte area or Reynolds Plantation east of Atlanta would be my guess as to location. Sure that's not Larry the Cable Guys??
Jordan generally has good taste but this home is poorly proportioned, and like so many large American homes, it's a trite, nouveau rendition of 16th century France. Shows nothing for the architect, other than a lack of imagination and true skill. I would've pulled a Julius Caesar on this one and had it torn down. I'd rather watch him play basketball than look at that house. Aesthetically, his play was far more pleasing. Forza, Cavallini
The home is beautiful.....may not be everyones style or even Jordans but it is still beautiful nonetheless...
