I've used the black cap bottle before and I was not too happy with the results. If I remember correctly, I think it left a streaky finish. Isn't the red bottle the cheap economy quick detailer? I'd be concerned with marring using this product if there was any dirt present on the car's finish.

Lately I've been using Optimum No Rinse car wash as a quick detailer (2oz. of ONR mixed with distilled water in a 32 oz. spray bottle). I feel it's safer given its anti-scratching properties and I really like the results. I only use this method if the car has light dust/dirt. Otherwise, I do a more traditional wash.

It's just that the red bottle is so easy. Spray on, wipe off.
I LOVE my cars CLEAN and love cleaning them and I feel I do A great job, but great job and all, I'm just an amateur product stuck in the 80's. I don't know any of this new technology.
Every couple of years I have my cars done professionally, and I just maintain them.
Consider too, they are barely driven.

Yes. Griot's Garage Speed Shine works great!

I still like the Adams detail spray. Hot cold does not matter. Full sun no sun perfect either way. I compare everything to ADAMS so far they are my favorite. Also if you are a member of the Ferrari Club of America you get at least 10% off. I like Griots stuff but always go back to the pink coloured ADAMS quick detail.

I use zymol field glaze, works great after a summer drive to clean all the bugs off as if left on the can cause pitting in your ppf, also works great for any other grime

More power to you Armen! I sometimes wish I liked detailing more as I always view cleaning my cars as a mundane chore. I wish I could enjoy the process. After all, I'm a car guy. I love driving and owning my cars but I, unfortunately, rarely enjoy cleaning them.

To cure that have a mobile detailing guy come to you to do a detailed clean and then work on the car yourself with waxes etc that way you just get involved in the fun stuff

The problem with me is: once I detail my cars, I WON'T drive them. It's all about making them look perfect. I hate dirt and dust on them.
For example, I detailed the Daytona, I don't wanna drive it now. All that time cleaning it and then driving it and getting it dirty????
Especially those Borrani wheels. What a nightmare to clean.
Doesn't make sense to me. I'll give it... 1 week.

Again, please remember I'm an amateur at detailing.

I'm the same way with my nice cars. It takes so much time and effort to properly clean and wax them that I hate to then take them for a drive. Especially considering that it never fails to rain within the first two times of taking the car out for a drive. HAHA

B.S. ! garage queens are for losers. These cars belong on the road where they can piss off all the losers in SUVs.

Most of my cars are garage queens and I don't consider myself a loser.

Since you have a whole slew of products, why not try one more.

    https://www.amazon.com/Detailing-Products-C2501-Protectant-Gallon/dp/B0779LMP2C/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=beadmaker+gallon&qid=1587335255&sr=8-1

It's very inexpensive detailer(buy the gallon). Protection would last for about 3 weeks or so for my daily driver that sits outside. Very easy to apply. Spray on, and wipe off.
Oh - and it's very slick to the touch as well.

I've done the ceramic coating my 3 cars 2 years ago , and now just top it off with Beadmaker on a as needed basis. I'm too lazy at the moment to spend the whole day to prep the car for another ceramic coating.

My car is black and I use both Meguiars (last touch spray detailer) and that P&S Bead Maker and I get the best results from the P&S. Both are very easy to use. I noticed that the Bead Maker makes the paint a lot smoother, thus helping the drag coeficient :D

I decided to color correct (detail) my 550 Maranello today. It was the 1st time I've used a buffer. The new G9 from Groits was actually so easy to work with. Here is one photo of the car. The reflection on the trunk lid is from the house up the hill. I have to say, I enjoyed doing it.

Wow, that looks great. Big difference.
The only problem I had was; how do you get the small areas where the wheel cant fit, I'm almost afraid to try. Behind the buffer may hit the paint as I angle it or I may burn something trying. I guess that'll come with experience.

Either you can buy the 1 inch mini polisher for those areas or go for the small 2 inch head that bolts to the normal polisher to get in there. The 1 inch mini is so cool but, I didn't get one as I have so much stuff collected I am totally out of space to put it all
