Does anyone have experience with this product? Is it safe for all vinyl, plastic, switchgear, decals, screen-printed dashboard stuff, etc.? Does it leave any residue behind?

Have you found a product that you like better for interior cleaning / detailing????

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure what model Ferrari you have, but if it's newer than a 328 I'd be extremely careful about using any chemicals near the plastics in those cars. They all have issues with the surface turning to goo.

I like the Griot's vinyl dressing for my vinyl dash in the 328. Their leather care also seems to work well (I use it with their microfibre cloths.)

Ultimately, though, what I'd recommend is plain warm water on a soft cloth.

I like Griot's Garage "Interior Cleaner" it works very well as a general "all purpose" interior cleaner.

I use to use the Griots stuff which works very well--until I used the Sonus Cockpit deatil spray---which works better in my opinion...

I have the Meguiar's Quick Interior Detail Wipes, and rhnk they are great. Great for quick touch ups on both the 328 and the daily car. I think it is a great product for what it is - a convenience product - but I don't thnx it replaces periodic treatment with a decent leather cleaner / conditioner.

Harmful? No. I don't think so. The best you can get? Perhaps not.

Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer is a great product and I believe it was reforumlated about a year ago to increase the UV protection. It will not "harm" leather and vinyl, but as mentioned I would not place anything but de-ionzied water of the rubber goo parts that modern Ferrari's have.

Meg's QID has good cleaning power and will easily remove scuffs and dirt which make it ideal for "quick detailing" the interior. It also leaves behind a satin finish, which is much more desirable then the Armol All crazy of 20 years ago.

To add some protection to the interior surfaces, I would recommend using 303 AreoSpace Protecant. It has a UV rating and also leaves a very satin finish.

Another happy user of Meguiars QD here. Good stuff!

Although I've only used it on the paint.

+1. I've used it on everything in the interior, including carpets, with great results. The key is CLEAN cloths to wipe with after application, and frequently exposing the area to a new, fresh, completely clean area of the wiping cloth.

i recently bought meguires interior wipes (not sure if they are called Quick detailer or not but) And they ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRID. I love the paint QD and use it all the time but the interior wipes are awful. I got them with the idea that they'd be good for quick wiping between full details with lexol. to wipe off marks, ashes etc. Well, I was washing the outside of the car while my gf stayed in the car and wiped down the whole interior. When I finished the outside, I opened the door to see how she was doing and I nearly passed out. I was so pissed at that product. It made everything look like plastic and on top of that, it was uneven and streaky. So, I immediately grabbed some microfiber towles and started rubbing it in/off to even it out. It was SO MUCH work to make it even, I had to wipe so hard my arms were numb. After I finally finished (close to 3 hours or rigorous wiping!!!!!!!), it was even but still looked like shlt. very fake looking, took away the natural leather look it had completely. I don't even think it's reversible. I think the interior is ruined.
