Assuming both are brand new...mega yacht. I say this because you can buy a beat up commercial jet with 60,000+ hours for cheap. Although I'll never have either in my life so I'll stick to Southwest.
Mega Yacht.......leave the flying to the professionals, and leave the relaxing and cruising to me! Plus, you can't dock a plane and get drunk in a hot tub with a bunch of topless chicks!

Private Jet. I dont live near water so what do I need a mega yacht for? A Citation X cannot be argued with. Fastest business jet in the world, cross 6 time zones and be home in time for dinner.
Mega Yatch. You can go all around the world and stay there. With your private jet, you just get there. Even with an amazing 380 with Sauna and Gym , it would be weird spending 15 days vacation in an airport..
private jet simply on account that i would use it a lot more than the yacht. imagine being able to hop on your plane and fly to vegas with friends just on a whim!
But what if you want to drive your Ferrari? I would need an aircraft carrier. Just do top speed runs in cars all day across the deck, and I could have a Citation X to fly to land if I wanted to.
Did you see that yacht posted above? It has a helicopter with a garage and a Mercedes G500 parked in there. You can bring your car, helicopter, small boat, submarine, etc, with you in a yacht. You can fly first class on commercial if you want to fly so bad...

A380. No need to spend the night in the airport... just have your pilot take off when you turn in for the night and land in the morning
I'll take a yacht. Like starboy said, a lot of hot chicks would rather spend the time in a yacht than in a private jet. If I want to go somewhere, I'll just rent out a plane or fly commercial ones.
The private jet makes more sense to me. I love to go hunting, so I figure if I can afford a private jet then I could afford to spend each year hunting all over the world. Now, most of you will call me nuts because I'd rather be chasing animals than topless chicks on a private yacht, but hey. Jet gives me exclusive comfort flying there and (especially) back and I can carry my rifles right on to the plane. No baggage handlers losing my rifles and luggage, in fact no baggage handlers period. Not to mention, I can live in Texas and still visit my friends in California every weekend (or have the jet bring them to me).
Gotta be a mega yacht If I were that rich I'd rather take my time getting from place to place in utter relaxation.
Having a beautiful yacht filled with premium liquor and a large hot tub is basically owning a license to have drunken sex with multiple women on the open seas. Although a private jet is impressive, trying to enjoy multiple women while enountering turbulence at 30,000 ft would be difficult for me. LOL
I'll take a private jet. Easy choice. I love the experience of going on a nice cruise liner with lots of people and the big formal dinners and all the different excursions and meeting great people enjoying their vacation. I do not love the experience of going through the nightmare of flying commercially. Long lines, screaming babies, walking barefoot through metal detectors, delays, etc...
