Here’s a glance at my overall 1:18 Mega Ferrari collection, which only about a quarter of the collection on display within a large displace case, but the other three-quarters is sitting in the closet. One day my goal is to build a 12 foot x 7 foot case and have about 8 glass shelves to display the entire collection. Of course I’m always adding to the collection. AND… I have another question for you guys, what amount would you pay to purchase a collection this size, and what’s the valve you think it’s worth after reading what’s listed here? I might “ONE DAY” list the entire collection for sale but NOT to any dealers or vendors, because I won’t sell it cheap for you to make more money on my behalf… Sorry!. Also FYI, most of the high-end resin F1 cars such as the AR Maquettes cars go for about $450 each one but they are "Awesome" looking and VERY VERY limited in productions. All cars are Red which displayed together "A sea of red" =)

PS… Pictures are coming soon.... THANKS for looking Rob

I think you will need much more than 12 feet by 7 feet to display that many 1:18 models, and you will probably have many more when the time comes.

Very nice list. I think an extimate of all of them is difficult. To some, it is worth a lot, to others, not much (just like some real cars). If you decided to sell someday, a pricing plan may be easier if you broke it into chunks by brand. I can grasp buying 20 Exoto cars, but I would never fathom buying 200 1:18 cars at once.

Let's see some pictures of course.

I once talked to a guy about selling around 300 diecast airplanes. Without even looking at a list, he said, "10% will be great, 10% will be dogs, and the others will be average". So he offered a price based on an average of 300 pieces, regardless of type. Two other people used the same method. Bottom line is that you will always be offered less and less as the quantity increases.

Thanks everyone for your response back in regards to my Mege collection, however I’m missing just a few more Ferraris from my list, and I want to test your memory. Can anyone please tell me what red Ferraris I’m missing? Hint: I’ve already have the model but it’s the version I don’t have.

When I begin buying red 1:18 Ferraris I wanted everything made in my collection which my theory included buying from every manufacture from day one.

I’m working on getting pictures for you guys to see the collection, but what’s the most challenging issue, taking everything out from the closet to view. I have about 84 cars in my current display case, but the other 100 + cars are in storage for the time being. It will take me a few weeks to get pictures for you to see so stay tuned.

Oh by the way…. I took the 10 percent rule and reviewed the list , I figure the Mega collection is worth 15K maybe a bit more. What are your thoughts?

That will be kinda hard for Black Horse to do. He only has part of his collection displayed, part is in the closet and the other part is ????, well let's just say it's not in his possesion at this point.

BY THE WAY, HIS "SEA OF RED" Collection is mighty impressive.

You're missing a whole bunch of 1/18 Ferraris. Remember my F1 list?

Besides that I got a bunch of 1/18 Ferrari road and race cars I don't see on your list and yes I'm willing to sell.

Not to brag (I don't have them all myself either), but there are dozens of 1/18 Ferraris you're missing. Seriously. Have you ever been to Maranello and visited some of the collector shops around town? It is unreal how much hand made stuff there is besides Hotwheels, Exoto and the other usual suspects we know in the States.

Hurry Up Rob! Now you have Felix the Cat pacing in anticipation of seeing your collection. I guess having full use of only 1 hand since your shower accident doesn't help. HAAAA!

Just take a pic of your display case, a pic of your packed closet and a pic of your SO CALLED storage.

I will just have to get going on that HUGE display cabinet for ya.

Hi guys, I noticed everyone is talking about their "mega" collections most of which I can easily match and I consider my collection to fall short of the mark I have set myself for having a "mega" collection.I don't have the patience to write you a list( I would much rather apply it towards building more models).Unlike someone mentioned here before I DO have all of it in my possession and most of it on display. No list , but some pictures.I need to say I really don't have the intention of hurting anyone's feelings but I really don't see any sense of buying six 360 modenas in different colors(just an example). If I did that I would have double the amount of models I own now. However every once in a wile a model would come out in a different color that I just have to have. This is by no means my complete collection, but a good chunk of it.Anyway, enough said.Enjoy
P.S. If anyone feels like uploading the images for me feel free to do so.For whatever reason the only way my computer lets me upload them is as links so you would have to click each one.

Have you checked with a mod why you can't upload pics? It might be something really simple.

The 312t2 I somehow missed but I have the Clay Regazzoni one with the driver figure on preorder, and then I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a 312t3 to close the circle.
