I would recommend Jack Bianchi of Bianchi Motors in Santa Barbara. He is actually retired, now, and has sold the business. But he said he is keeping a stall at the facility for work he will continue to do himself.

Thats a little far for you, but probably the closest.

Another place is in Monterey. Bill Rudd is working there, and he knows a lot about the older cars. Not sure of the name of the place, but I can get it if you are interested.

What kind of F-car do you have. There is an active group of Ferrari owners on the central coast, and many do their own work. And some of the guys will go to any length to come and help a fellow Ferraristi work on his car.

There is a lot of Ferrari knowledge in the area invested in individual owners. We are thinking about starting an informal "club" in the area if you are interested.
