    Hello,

I'm looking for info or pictures on a manufacturer of scale models named MDS-RACING, they have produced some 1/43 as the F50 GT and also a built model of the 125 S in 1/24 scale...

Does anybody knows or info to share ?
    thanks
    Phil

I am looking for that one allready for years and i can not even locate one and the only information i found about it is on italian horses Alex Kustov's webside maybe you should send him a mail and ask about it because he has actualy seen one they where also factory builds.
I hope this helpes and i will follow this tread since i am also very interested in that model (missing from my collection) the only downside will be if we find one in mint condition they will cost a small fortune.

    friendly greetings,

    Alex

I just found this ancient thread via search. I am selling my MDS Racing model of a Ferrari 250 GTE, 1 of 50. I sold the actual car, so off it goes:

    Ferrari 250 GTE 2 2 Model MDS Racing 1 18 Scale | eBay

I have a few more more models of the GTE and I am cataloguing them right now, with a Bandai and W Toys battery models also up fleabay.

I saved the same pictures years ago, when that model was for sale on an auction.
There are too many idiots on their way, careless with their descriptions- especially concerning scales. Of course, for a 1/24 Ferrari collector, this model might be a juwel.
At this day I didn´t trust the description telling this model is scale 1/24 - and I doubt about it till today. Did anybody find a proof for 1/24 meanwhile?
Still I can´t find something at the web, and also at Alex´(very competent!) site actually this model is not listed.
Further comments and information highest appreciated!
    Klaus

MDS Racing means Mario De Santo Racing.
I have 3 or 4 MDS Racing models at 1/18.

    The complete list is :
    - Dino 206 S 1/18
    - Ferrari 125S 1/18
    - Ferrari 195 S Berlinetta 1/18
    - Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 1/18
    - Ferrari 250 MM Berlinetta 1/18
    - Ferrari 250 TR 58 #728TR 1/18
    - Ferrari 290 MM 1/18
    - Ferrari F50 GT 1/18

    He's an italian handbuilder.

MDS Racing became, for some time, Red Run Models and made some transkits, kits and models as F50 GT.

Now the name of the company is V12 Sportmodels.

    You're welcome Klaus.

Sure, 125S is at 1/18 scale.
I have it in the same box : the reference is "MAXI 11 Ferrari 125 S 1947 Stradale Rosso".
I have also with this box : "MAXI 16 Ferrari 166 MM 1° Mille Miglia 1949 Biondetti".
I forgot this reference in my list...
