McLaren Las Vegas service officially opened

About 4 months ago the O'gara group from LA opened a McLaren dealer in the Wynn Hotel just off the casino floor. They opened a shop in East Las Vegas and had been working since to become factory authorized service.

This last couple of weeks they were awarded official warranty service and then began expanding the shop next door. I've been having my cars serviced there for most of the time they have been open. The shop location is a few miles east of the airport. Its actually almost Henderson and the area and homes and the area are quite nice.

The shop manager is Rich Kansky who some of you may know from the Wynn Ferrari "batcave" dealer.

I went by today and took some photos of what's going on. They are installing new McLaren equipment, an alignment rack, creating a detail area, and putting in more lifts including a 14,000 lb lift to do Rolls Royce service.

They have been trained in all current McLarens and have authorization to work on P1's, which requires special permission and training from McLaren. They told me they order parts now direct from the factory and get them shipped overnight.

This is something Las Vegas has really needed. There's been no authorized McLaren service and it was a hassle for local owners. There's something like 80 McLarens in Vegas currently but O'gara is selling quite a few now.
