Beautiful boat. Is he actually buying all of this stuff? Remember the old adage, "If it flys, floats or f***s, don't buy it. Rent it."

 

Bagheera was for sale at 4.8...It had a refit in 2020 and the 2021 pics at the ''balk Shipyard'' show a new lick of paint. If not too much is done to the interior my guess is 5.5 all in. He earns around €25m per season base, Red Bull is very generous per point as well and a flat bonus of another million per win, so just in wins alone he's pretty much paid for this stunning boat lol. And lets not forget his endorsements...

 

And if if hasn't been mentioned i think living in Monaco he keeps most of his money. Fortunate young man living life large.

 

I'd rather see him being more modest...would show more maturity. His career can suddenly become very short. Some good solid investments would mean that he could enjoy living large, after he retires. Think of all the other athletes who go money stupid...and end up broke.

With no taxes its like making almost twice what you make. Who can blame him?

Not sure how old, accurate, or fluff this is but a few interesting names here like Bono. I didn't know Hamilton, and few other F1 personalities were here, but why not? Glamour, security, and lots and lots of money with little taxes? Who on here knows the real story of taxes and Monaco? Are these celebrities really able to adviod paying huge tax bills?

That's the other added benefit. Almost all drivers live in MC, a few in Switzerland and UK, the latter *mostly* rookies that will be close to the team factory...but for foreign drivers in the UK they can use non-dom tax to minimize their bill.

MC is paradise.

Yes so long MC is your main residence and live there 180 days per year, it's tax free. The 180 days is tough to reach for an F1 driver though but it's clear the other countries they visit they don't live there, so MC is still their main residence.

High rent (and 12 months up front) + bringing at least half a million to open a bank account are ''downsides'' (but keeps the scum out), but there really is zero income for foreigners (except if you're french/American passport holder).

Drivers also get bonuses for winning a race with regards to points AND the season as well.

 

I would say salary + bonus + endorsements he's looking at well over 40 million a season already.
