I was in Houston for the first few days of this week on buisness. When I was heading back to the airport I stopped to get gasoline and saw a Maserati Spyder sitting in a parking lot next to the gas station I pulled into. I was enjoying the beauty of the car while I was filling my car with fuel. Then a tow truck came and took the car away. I was a little surprised, although I know that even fairly new cars can have issues.

How reliable are those cars? I'm not in the market for one, I am just asking out of curiosity.

I'm sure there are a few owners that have had reliability problems, but ours has been bullet-proof. Great car, lots of fun.

Some folks have reported problems with the software controlling the F1 gearbox - the reports are that it goes into neutral and won't come back out. Dunno the cause; we've never seen that problem.
