I just emailed Andy Heywood of McGraths Maserati to ask if he knew these, the WU2 number plate is not in the data he gave me years ago...very intriguing, plus I don't immediately recognize the other two. The brownish one is not 341 or 381. I'd have to scour my files but really swamped this week. Thanks for the link and Roger thanks for the 1146 mention.

The Stanguellini museum car is 292, a time warp car. Francesco Stanguellini stated that the family bough it in 1989 via Franco Trall'is excellent
workshop in nearby Bomporto. As the added chassis plate shows it was new to Germany.

It is the Khamsin that lives closest to the factory even closer than 270 the white car driven regularly and 080 the Panini museum car.

Regarding 1212 identified by Roger in that dealer gallery it is great to see it looking cared for, last time I gathered data about it was many years ago, it used to be black and in poor condition with the US bumpers...

Does anyone have part numbers that can be used to purchase replacement gas struts for the K's rear hatch?
    Asking for a friend.
    Grazie,

Yes I don’t think I’ve seen a photo from #1212 before but if it was that bad it’s nice to see that someone is taking care of the car.

Another Khamsin that is getting attention is this one in Albi, France, I don’t know the VIN, but it looks like it was very rusty and is now being restored(/recreated?): https://www.facebook.com/mialetsebastien-108972054092505/

    Hello again borologist...

I reviewed Post 6000 in this thread, where the gentleman ordered the struts from Suspa out of Grand Rapids..
I didn't look past 6000 to see if he reported how those struts fit and if he had to adapt them somehow.
Right now they run about $32 each, and appear to be on back order.. Unfortunately, I couldn't see a picture
of them on their site, and I am a bit concerned about the end tip mountings. I tried Amazon.com (reluctantly)
to see a picture, and the picture that came up has the tips looking different than what I see on my car.. But I
don't know if I can trust that picture...

A couple of years ago I ordered a set from MIE.. Unfortunately, I waited a long time before checking the fit..
Alas, they did not fit, and I felt too much time had gone by to check back with MIE, so I decided to eat the cost... As such,
I don't want to buy another set until I am somewhat certain they will fit...

So, if you don't mind, please let us know what happens when you fit them to your car, and any adaptations you had to
make. Pictures, of course, would be great to! I don't recall if you have posted pictures of your K since you got it. We
would all love to see it! The strut information is much appreciated!

    Thanks...

    Mike

He's been playing around in the P&R section lately.

That place has a very minimalist looking website. I think they're used to dealing with businesses who know exactly the specifications they need. That's my impression anyway.

    Hi Mike---

I would be happy to do both!
Sadly, for logistical reasons beyond my control, it will be a couple of months before her coming out party!
    But you have my word!

    Thanks.

    Strange, just like that?
    What is the P&R section?
    And why was he banned?
Will there be any information from the moderator about this?

Oh dear. P&R = politics and religion.
Hope it’s just a temporary hiatus.
Otherwise we can start a petition!!

    Best to all.
    Mark.

Marc will be back in a couple of days, not to worry. Just a temporary detention.

Best to leave it alone. People get spanked all the time. Usually it's only a couple of days. Do it often enough and you're gone permanently. AFAIK no danger of that happening with Marc. I'm pretty sure you'd have to be in P&R to even discuss the details. So let it be.
