Maserati GTS - sporatic button start issue

    I have a 2014 Maserati Quattroporte GTS. Every so often, the car will not start using the dash push-button. When I push the button, the aux items come on but no turnover of the engine. I then have to get out and use the remote start, then get back in the car and push the dash button. When this happens, I have tried moving different levels of pressure on the brake pedal (thinking a sensor is not being met), wiggled the shifter, the steering wheel, etc, and nothing worked. Any ideas??

    As it's electrical probably, why not just take it to the dealer or an indy and get it fixed? Hard to diagnose problems like this on the internet.

    Tried replacing the battery in your fob?
