I had a set of Maserati air horns years ago that had 5 red plastic trumpets,a silver compressor possibly made by Fiam ? for Maserati and red plastic lines from the compressor to the horns. They played the Col. Bogie march tune PA-PA,Puh-PA-PA-PA from the movie "Bridge over the River Kwai" or simultaneously. They were purchased new from Vilem B. Haan and were quite popular in the late 60's. There were also 2 & 3 trumpet models that played an alternating tune similar to that used by French Police in lieu of a siren. They appeared sililar to stock Ferrari horns of the period.
Does anyone know of a source for these today or have a set hiding in the garage they want to sell ?

Punch up the keywords "musical, air, horns, fiamm" on ebay and there are several shown.

In my old Vilem Haan catalog, the Maserati air horns were $64.95 for the five-horn version, and you could order Colonel Bogey, La Cucaracha, Never on Sunday, Lili Marlene, O Sole Mio, Charge, Call to the Post, and The Godfather theme.

I also have an old catalog that sells Continental Air Horns by Poli of Italy, and their five-horn model could play Lisbon Antigua, Yankee Doodle, Colonel Bogey, La Cucaracha, Le Marseillaise, and Oh Susana.

Ferrari also fitted Fiam airhorns. Harbor Freight (The tool store), had these in stock about a year ago. I couldn't resist buying a set ! Its worth checking out.

I had a set of Maserati air horns years ago but they never played anything. Mind-blowing sound that got people's attention, fast. I believe I still have the box and owners' manual but the horns were sold with another car.

Come to think of it, I may have to get a new set!

I saw your 2009 post about your long gone air horns.I have a triple air horn set that I bought in the early 60's,but haven't used for 40 years. I'm trying to overhaul them and wire them up correctly. was wondering if you were interested in selling your manual?
