The attached ad was published in Road & Track April 1955. Does anybody know the chassis number of this Maserati A6 GCS Roadster which Max J. Goldman from Ann Arbor (MI) offered? Goldman finished 3rd in class at Fort Pierce (FL) on 27th Feb. 1955:

Could it be the Frua Spider #2054, which was owned by Bobby Burns (TX) in the same year?
    (cf. www.pietro-frua.de/1953_maserati.htm)

On which day did Burns participate at the Mansfield race in Lousiana with race no. 5 EM?

This Maserati Goldman A6GCS is much probably the ex-Fred Procter #2055. The Bobby Burns A6GCS Frua spider is #2054 .

Jeff, it was NOT #2055, as told you offline today. The ex-Goldman-car was a different A6GCS.
