    Hi,
I'm restoring a 1962 Maserati 3500 GT, AM 101.1048 and need information about the insulation, particularly the fire wall and foot well insulation. They seemed to use a lot of regular fiberglass and jute, some in the engine compartment was covered with fiberglass matts. Is it important to use similar products or more modern, better products? Then keep the outward appearance similar to the original.
    Thanks,
    Jim

It would probably behoove all of us if answers/solutions were made public?

Agreed as I have a very similar need for my ghibli. A lead on a solution for a 3500gt might help me assuming similar products used.
