Has anyone recently attempted to order parts from Maranello Classic Parts? I placed two orders via their website last week. One order shows Waiting Payment. How do you pay for the items? I have sent a few emails with not response. There is no place to enter billing or payment information on their web site. Do you receive an invoice first? I called their number with no answer. It is a liitle fustrating.

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Bill

I ordered from them recently and had to call to give my credit card number. I was sent an email listing a total and phone number to call for payment arrangements.

I placed an order on 03/20/09. For a week their web site showed "Awaiting Picking", then "Awaiting Payment". I emailed them and did not receive a reply back. I called them on 3/26/09 and gave my credit card number. On 03/31/09, the orders are no longer shown on their web site. I called today and was told they lost the order. They said they moved their warehouse accross the street and are having internal problems.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems or just some back luck on my part?

    Bill

I have ordered Rare Bits from them for my cars, in the past and they came thru with flying colors...

They used to have an employee that was a Member here and it was very easy to get things resolved..

IIRC, they have had some restructuring of the dealership and ownership so I'd give them the benfit of the doubt and reorder the stuff you need.......they are sitting on the entire Factory Inventory (turned over by Ferrari ) to fit our cars, so if you pizz them off there no one else to turn to, save maybe the Classiche Department at the Factory...

So at least Ferrari UK speaks fluent English.........

They have interiors they have not even inventoried yet, and sent me a brand new sun visor, still wrapped on the blister card!!!

I bet they are going crazy with moving an entire warehouse and still taking orders. I can only imagine what they are going thru.

I tried ordering a rather expensive part from them yesterday. I received a reply stating that I needed to pay for the part via a wire transfer? There is no way that's going to happen.

Maranello Classics is as legitimate as it gets. They’re more afraid of credit card chargebacks etc.

If you are concerned, perhaps try ordering the same part through Eurospares. They might he willing to accept CC depending on the amount.
