My wife and I will be in mid-town Manhattan over Christmas. We're having difficulties finding any place for breakfast/brunch open Christmas day.

Is this the norm? I know it's not a Ferrari related question, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I was at an FNA event that started at a restaurant attached to the the Lowes Hotel on Park &54th. We had a very nice buffet breakfast. Give them a call, I imagine they would need to be open for hotel guests.

Weather this Saturday 12/24/16 looks awful. Any indoor festivities around mid-town Manhattan ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ess-A-Bagel. I never eat breakfast anywhere else.

Of course, if you are travelling with a wheelbarrow of money and want to put on the dog, The Waldorf has a very lovely brunch. It's just around the corner from Ess-A.

We dined at Bahltazar on Christmas morning in SOHO. (outstanding) Took the train to Central Park afterwards. And yes, even on Christmas day there was plenty to do. God I wish I could afford to live in Manhattan.

    Awesome!

Side note, I'm a full-time work from home person, but just accepted a job where I'll be in NYC 1-2 times per week. I wasn't thrilled about that piece of the job, but since I'm a real foodie, and I've already been to the new office, I'm EXCITED! So many great places to see and eat, it's as if I've forgotten much of it (and I have...).

Glad you had a great time!
