Yep, I did take a bit less than the asking. But one thing i have learned, selling something to a dealer like Peter at gullwing or Alex at Beverly Hills car club is a whole lot less stressful than spending a lot of time on the phone with low offers right and left. So, now i have the cash to finish my garage building then find a good deal on a 360 or maybe a gallardo, but i will miss mangusta. Actually i had more call from guys wanting the e type than the mangusta and i didn't have it listed anywhere. It isn't for sale.
Yeah, shoulda, woulda, coulda. I came close to buying 2 different cars. The first was a single headlight yellow one in NC, priced at $37k and the other was a fairly rough red one that had a removable steel sunroof, supposedly factory. 20k! This was probably around 2002. I read the reviews about the handling, etc & decided I'd go with a Pantera instead. To my credit I did buy a 5k mile Pushbutton. Cool cars that show up in a movie or video ever so often. This is really one of those questions that if you are asking it than you most likely won't be able to understand the answer.
a car like this? No such thing as paying 'too much' just buying 'too early' the market will meet this car...no doubt. Cool.
