Scud was second in race 2 this morning, top effort, hopefully he can get Kingsley of the line in the next one, the 997,s should be quicker from a standing start with the sequential box and better gear ratios but staying in front of him will be a challenge he is a very good driver, especially in wet conditions.
Looking at the photos and it would be no surprise to see Scud take home the Xtreme industries best presented car award this afternoon.

This guy is a true winner, still driving a 996, yet always seems to beat almost everyone, second fastest lap time this weekend, and faster than 8 other 997's talk about a talented driver
Matt had a bad accident a few years ago at Clipsal and was in a coma for quite some time apparently, it's a credit to him to get back on the horse and show no fear, the 996 probably suits tracks like Mallala a bit better in damp conditions, the ABS would be a big help.
