    That's not possible.
We all know it was abducted by the Chinese, or maybe an alien mother ship.

I question the lack of "sea life" on it, having been in the ocean for over a year.

    Bob,

    the french sentence in text:
"Ils ont été acheminés en Australie, où ils ont été examinés notamment par des experts de Boeing"
    Translate as:
"the debris were brought in Australia, where these were scrutinized by experts, among which were specialists from Boeing"

I thought perhaps you were one of these experts...

    Best,

Ex spurt, a drip under pressure. I'm no expert in anything anymore, particularly Boeing. The only thing they ask me is, " GAD! You still here?" Thanks anyway.

But you are the one, Bob! Your contributions about that great company are much valued...
Of course, all we know now is that this plane must be "somewhere" in the Indian Ocean...which is big.

You're too kind, thanks. I was thinking that since they have found more wreckage in the same general area that checking the currents might narrow the search area. Going back 68 years to when I was at Duke U. and in French class, I got an early and permanent release from the class when I greeted the professor with an impromptu morning " hello". It went sort of like this, " Bon Mattin, Mon Sewer. Parlezz vooz crankcase?" The man had no sense of humor, and I had no sense of French.

That's patently absurd. We all know Hillary Clinton flew it to Iran and then to North Korea.

Well, admittedly French is not an easy langage to learn, to begin with, especially for English speaking people because the pronunciation is difficult to catch as some sounds are "not natural".

As for MH370, I don't really know...will they find it one day? Those with interest in naval history know that it took about 70 years to locate the wrecks of "HMAS Sydney" and the German Auxiliary cruiser "Kormoran" at the bottom of the Indian Ocean, even if the location of their sinking was more or less well known; and a ship makes a bigger wreck than an aeroplane.
And if they find it, what would be possible to know about the reason of the crash after many weeks-months-years at the bottom of the sea?

"Of the 46,000 square miles of the designated search area some 5,700 square miles, an area the size of Connecticut, remain to be searched."

That's impressive they have searched 40300/46000 sq miles already.

    Assuming flap is authentic-

One can probably rule out an intentional landing at sea. A no flap landing on a rough ocean would be an even worse idea than a normal landing on a rough ocean.

That leaves suicide or incapacitation at the top of the list followed by the more outlandish possibilities.

According to the story, the serial number on the flap is for the same model plane that was sold to the same airline, the same year that the disappeared plane went into service.

Sounds like it IS from the missing plane.

I remember the day this came up i was hanging with a real close friend and saw the news on fchat. Cant believe the time that has passed and no real answers yet.

Happy to hear that the puzzle is slowly starting to come together.
