Lucky! Bernie Ecclestone mini series.

Meant to watch this, will give it a whirl in the next few days!

 

I haven't seen a thread about this here yet but I would like to recommend everyone here to have a look at the new streaming series called Lucky!, which is about the life and history of Bernie Ecclestone. It was made by the director of the Senna movie, and has Bernie as narrator. Great footage, and great insights from the man who made F1 into the sport it is today, for better or worse.

You'll have to check what streaming service carries it in your area, but trust me it's worth the view.

 

Mostly for worse--except for the unbelievable budgets.

 

Whatever you think of Bernie the period footage alone makes it worth watching

 

Seen the first 2 episodes this evening. Really entertaining and of course quite sad as well with so many drivers passing. Even to this day you can tell how much it hurt him losing Rindt.

 

Curious - anyone in the US watching this? Can’t seem to find it on US streaming services.

I saw the thread earlier this year but just got around to watching it this week. Really good show

 

Doesn’t help using one of the most common words for a fringe following as the title. Searched but wasn’t Lucky!
