As many of you already know, Luc in Davie, Florida is an invaluable commodity to Ferrari owners in our area (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca, Palm Beach, etc). If you need any sort of paintwork, from a bare metal respray to a touch-up to bodywork, Luc is the guy to contact. I can tell you that I recently had a great experience with his work and wanted to reiterate that this is a guy Ferrari owners can count on to really make a difference in their car's paint.

My car was down at Tim Stanford's Foreign Cars getting some work done. It should go without saying that Tim and his brother Tom are amazing at what they do. Tim has been working on Ferraris since he was a teenager, so he's seen it all and his shop is packed to the brim with vintage and rare Ferraris we all drool over. Their workmanship is awesome and they are both super nice guys that treat everyone like an old friend. So, another big thank you to them.

I also had a conversation with master detailer, also well known in the area, Eddy Fiuza, another super nice guy that does great work on exotic cars. I asked him about a couple of spots on my car that were bothering me and he suggested I speak to Luc. I looked Luc up on FChat and found lots of praise, so I went to see him. Once again, here's another really nice guy. I immediately felt at ease that this was a genuinely nice guy who loved what he did. His shop was packed with Ferraris, old and new, including Dinos, 308s, 328s, BB512s, Testarossas, 360s and 430s. It ran the gamut. He was nice enough to stop what he was doing and drive over to Tim Stanford's with me to look at my car. An incredibly nice gesture. We went over and he looked at my car, he sized it up in a few minutes and without any pressure gave me a few different options, explaining exactly what he could do and the cost. Then, he left it up to me. This process made my decision very easy, so as soon as the car was done at Tim's it went over to Luc's.

The work Luc did was AMAZING! He somehow made my car's paint look brand new. It really is amazing how he was able to take out all the imperfections and make it look like it just rolled off the assembly line. I would highly recommend anyone on the fence about getting some paintwork done on your Ferrari to call Luc and let him do the job. He's an invaluable resource for us here in South Florida. Frankly, if you don't have a good body/paint guy in your area have the car shipped down to him. It is well worth it. Plus, he's very easy to talk to and a very nice, knowledgeable guy. We are very lucky to have Ferrari guys like Tim, Luc and Eddy here in South Florida.

I could not agree more! Luc just completed incredible work on my car. The most major work
that you will see at his center will make your head spin....he's probably behind more Cavallino
medals than anyone. EASY to deal with. I highly recommend him.

South Florida is some kind of a Mecca for Ferrari owners, when it comes to take care of them.
Next to TIM and LUC I would also add our great dealer in Fort Lauderdale and Formula 1 in Naples (for those like me who drive a 456)

Yes, Luc is the best by far! Now he has gone even a step further by teaming up with longtime friend Patrick Gelly. Patrick, with over 25 years experience in automotive repair and restoration (the guy looks like he's 29 so he started at a very early age). They have joined forces as C'est La Vie Auto Works and can be seen on the web at cestlavieautoworks.com.

With a continuous improvement model for excellence, the guys are halfway through the process of installing a new downdraft paint booth to maximize the very best in their superb painting skills, resulting in an unmatched final finish. What was excellent before will only get better!
Unfortunately I had a little fender bender with the Mercedes SL500. Since Luc was tied up with several Ferrari's in the back shop, Patrick and his highly skilled staff stepped in to rescue the MB from being considered a "total loss" by my insurance company (State Farm).
Patrick and Luc worked on the price to satisfy State Farm and made me one happy camper.
Even though Luc did not work on the car, he and Patrick made sure the work was done professionally and with the utmost care. The end result was fantastic and color matching was phenomenal. And if those guys are out to lunch, Patrick's lovely wife makes sure the shop continues to run smoothly. With Patrick running the office and searching for the best prices on parts, this allows Luc to do what he does best, repair and restore exotic cars!

Check them out on line or stop on by and speak to Luc or Patrick. They'll be happy to show you the shop and equipment. Top notch all the way!
