That is a beautiful beautiful piece of automotive art. Are you sure you want to do this? Just MHO.

Is that actually your car or is it a model? It looks too perfect to mess with.

20's are big. I have 19's and they are huge. I hope you have a big brake kit as the stock ones may look really small.

As far as lowering, assuming you are simply doing a +2 with the wheels (maintaining factory ratios thus allowing for lowering) I would imaging the car would be lowered the same way as anyother vehicle. Not an expert but adjustable springs come to mind.

Does anyone know if the turning capabilities will be compromised?

I have 19's as well. Very low profile -25 aspect ratio. Not sure how much lower you want to go and still drive the car on the street.

I'd be really concerned about driving on the street; the ride would be pretty harsh. I realize that the standard 575 has a reputation for being a bit soft, but it's important to know if it has either of the handling packages. They could make it borderline buckboard.

Harsh ride and one pothole and you will be looking for new wheels and probably new tires too! Think of it this way. If the pot hole is half of the depth of the sidewall then there is SIGNIFICANT danger of bending a rim going through said pothole at even a very modest pace (say 45mph)... That is how someone explained it to me once anyway.

The spring platforms are adjustable, no parts are needed, just get your local workshop/dealer to do the job for you. If you're mechanically semi-capable you can search the threads here and do it yourself.

AD-maranello - Theres a company with a 550, they used a set of aftermarket coilovers, the company they went through may make a set for your 575.
Matter fact the set they used on the 550 would most likely work on your car.

Scroll down till you see the car and coilovers...theres a small write up about it on there.
