Nice aggressive drop. haven't had much scraping but i've also had lowered cars in my past. For anyone thinking about it just do it. 15mm spacers front and 20mm rear. In my opinion the car should have looked like this from the start. cost for everything including labor was about 3500

they are but ideally you want stiffer springs if you are lowering the car. otherwise you will get a bouncy ride over bumps.

Whats with the mirror within the mirror? Is visibility that bad in the 458?

Car looks incredible nonetheless. Nice choice!

Warm them up with a heat gun and they'll probably pull right off.

Before I put a heat gun near those mirrors, I would start with a hair dryer. They stick on with a patch of adhesive tape. Heat it up some and if you have some nylon fishing line, get behind the mirror edge and saw back n forth to loosen the sticky. Even dental floss would likely work.

it is stiffer. comfort mode feels like normal mode now. surprisingly not much problem with clearance or scraping.

Hi, i know this is an old thread, but for the 15mm 20mm spacers did you have to use extended wheel bolts or did you just use the standard that were already on the car? thanks

You will need extended extended wheel bolts. If you get the Hill Engineering spacers from Ricambi America there are packages with spacers and proper sized bolts. Hill spacers are the best in the industry too.

Did you do this with a 458? I just lowered mine this past weekend and there's not enough threads to adjust it 1.5". I spun the rears down with only a few threads left and the drop was less than 1". The front have more threads but I dropped the front and rear the same so the car would sit level. All-in-all, I got just shy of 1" lower.
