My low jack alarm was inspected by the company after approx 2 1/2 years....they say
it has to use its internal battery when the car is not running...(which is most of the time)
Apparently the battery is down to about 65%....eventually it will have to be replaced at a cost of approx $450.

Is there another way? does a trickle charger help this situation?

$450! Ouch!! If there were a way to connect a "smart" charger with the correct charge algorithms, that might help a new battery last longer, but it's likely too late to do much for the old one. I'm curious as to what type of battery it is. That's an awful lot of money. I'm also wondering what measurement they're using to get the 65%. 2 1/2 years is a reasonable amount of life for a battery in a high-cycling application (lots of deep discharges and recharges).
