I finally got around to temping the headers and exhaust. Here are the results: 5 min. after startup Bank 7-12 Cat - 250-270F Bank 1-6 Cat - 180F 15 min after engine stop Bank 7-12 Cat - 195F Bank 1-6 Cat - 156F Bank 7-12 forward exhaust manifold - 154F Bank 1-6 forward exhaust manifold - 150F Bank 7-12 rear exhaust manifold - 190F Bank 1-6 rear exhaust manifold - 192F Obviously, there is a fuel problem on Bank 1-6 (passenger side). However, although my methods werent perfect as the car was on the ground, there is a difference between the front and rear manifolds on both sides with the front ones being cooler. I also noticed this difference when temping the intake manifold runners and area around the spark plug on the valve cover, although not as great but it could range from 165 to 185 on the intake runners as well. Steve or bpu699? Do those numbers identify any specific aspect or is it time to remove the entire fuel delivery system to Bank 1-6?
I’m no expert... 1) try disconnecting your oxygen sensors and redo the test, make sure you know which is which... I suppose a bad sensor could make 1 side cooler... 2) check you distributors, are they fouled? My guess is still fuel pump. I bought one from rock auto for $100, identical to the Ferrari part, works great... I’m sure you could check fuel flow to each bank and fuel pressure from the topside... I wasn’t getting any fuel on one side...
