+1 on the Bugatti.
He was 100% right, Spyker is based in the Netherlands, recently moved into a production facility in England, and is completely separate from the original Spijker brothers except in name. How ever this C8 Spyder would have been produced in the original Dutch factory. Saab did not make/style/play a single hand in the creation of this first generation or the second generation Spyker cars. But the cars are very polarizing - love 'em or hate 'em more than any other care I can recall. Pars - Would you mind sharing with me what the last 3 of the VIN are? I'm curious to know if that is the same car as this: Image Unavailable, Please Login
ok - put me down as totally confused about this auto manufactuer: Spyker Cars and Mubadala Development Company (a principal investment company wholly owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi)
I actually don't have the VIN, but would be willing to bet it is the same car as the one in your picture if that one is a demo that Spyker takes across the US to different shows.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyker_Cars Mubadala has 17% of Spyker and a 5% of Ferrari. Yep thats got to be it. That picture was at West Baden - Spyker had that one, a dark green with tan, a silver with orange and a black with tan for show and driving.
Only a few. Unfortunately I wasn't there long enough to get many pictures but I did get some shots of a nice black Lamborghini that showed up Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did a flatbed bring it there? I didn't know that it ran or had a motor in it.. Oh, i forgot, that is the other black Lambo in town...
The turnout was pretty good considering it looking like rain. I see there is photgraphic evidence of me at the event (see fat guy on the phone in the picture of JM's car)
The Cars and Coffee this Saturday had another great turnout. There were over 100 cars there in total. Here are a few of my favorites, I was surprised to see the 458 Italia: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Super bummed I missed this because I was out of town! I've been wanting to see both those cars in person.
Was C&C today? If so, did anyone go? Turn out/pictures? I was off roading around a new listing in Frankfort all morning so I couldn't have made it anyway. Cool place, it was a former storage facility for explosives, now used as a cattle/hunting farm. Anyone want to buy 211 acres (zoned commercial) just off I-64 at exit 48?
It is always the second Saturday of the month at Java Brewing Co in Prospect from 9:00 AM to 11:00, so the next one will be this Saturday the 11th.
Just a reminder that Cars and Coffee is tomorrow, October 9th from 9:00-11:00 at Java Brewing Co in Prospect if anyone can make it out there. Should be great weather for it.
