    My secondary garage is limited in length (due to village codes). I'd like to know the overall length of the Lotus Esprit Turbo SE, S4/S4s, and the V8 models. I need to verify that one will fit for me. I've checked websites but to no avail. It's one of the cars I'm kicking around getting sometime next year or so. The Maserati is another, but I think only the Convertible will fit for me because it's somewhat shorter (6" or so) than the coupe. Thanks!

    Wheelbase: 95.3in (2420mm).
    Front track: 59.8in (1520mm).
    Rear track: 59.8in (1520mm).
    Overall length: 170.2in (4369mm).
    Overall width: 74.1in (1883mm) excluding mirrors.
    Overall height: 45.3in (1150mm).
    Ground clearance: 4.1in (105mm).

    Expect the older models to be a bit shorter. These figures are for the v8.

    Thank you lotustt! I can't believe it's the same length as my Boxster is! They look significantly longer. I must keep the overall length under 175 inches.

    Height is only 45 inches - makes it look longer. Boxsters and 911s are much taller than most exotics.

    I've got a 28'x30' garage (outside dimensions).

    I can put the 308 and a 66 corvette nose to tail (touching) and fit them inside with about 6" -8" to spare (30' dimension). The Esprit I have and the 308 would fit nose to tail with almost a foot to spare, if that helps at all.

    An 88 Esprit in under 15'

    I have a friend that was thinking about buying an esprit... then he test some and the gearbox was crap in all of them.
