    Any idea if this is an item I can buy? I’m thinking no and my best bet would be to fabricate a replacement piece.

    I had a box of steel metal rods that are used to hold up insulation between rafters in a ceiling. I cut them to size (I had 3 different lengths missing) and lightly sanded them. I glued them into place and they are still there a full year later and even I can't tell which ones they are.

    BTW, I did get the idea of manufacturing my own from 360Marnix!
