We are located in Long Island but do offer free flatbed pick up and delivery to the Tri-state. You can reach our service department at 631-585-8600.

there is also Vicenzo Latino at autoelite in fort lee nj just over the GWB He has a nice following in a more casual way. Still he has worked on them all u name it. very honest
I would recommend u drive by both and see which of the two feels better for you . Good luck

+1000 for Auto Elite. Vincenzo's worked on my 328 for 10 years now. Old school in the best possible way—honest, extremely knowledgeable, and just a great person.

I simply could not agree more. Several compentant mechanics in the area that come recommended on f-chat (Areana, Classic Coach), but for me the only one I have used is Vinny at Auto Elite- after the initial service I didn't need to try anyone else. Made my first year with a ferrari managable as we went through the car and worked out what turned out to be a couple of minor bugs for very reasonable cost. One of the nicest guy I've met in my travels to boot!

Probably no website- Auto Elite is pretty much just Vinny who schedules a few cars at a time- he doesn't have a huge 20 car facility and doesn't schedule a bunch of cars then have them sitting outside for 3 weeks (like some Ferrari dealers!) He's a throwback to the mechanics in tune with the cars themselves and not just replacing parts just to replace them, and is very reasonable cost wise (although nothing is cheap on a ferrari). I would suggest calling him to talk about your car and/or the servicing you're thinking about to get a feel... in the "tri-state area", we are lucky to have several good mechanics that know these cars, although they all seem to be a little bit of a drive depending on where you live (Autoelite is Fort Lee just before the bridge, classic coach I think is in Elizabeth...you have to watch the pot holes driving to some of these places with the low profile tires on ferrari's ;) )

no autoelite has no web site, as i said before u have to swing by and meet the man, I stopped by his saturday revolving lunch, and he will be closed until around august 20th
for holiday. I cant recommend him high enough, he is a true pro and very nice/honest to boot. He was trained in italy came to usa in his late 20's . Arena has a great name as well
i would visit both. by the way i have had 246 engine rebuild, 512 bbi , 330 gtc, and others all in his expert hands.

    Yeah, go to Vinny's place!
0 min. from GW Bridge (if you want to go back to Brooklyn or Staten Island, just take $1 bus to get NYC and take A train!)
He is taking care of my cars over 10 years and really nice guy.

Worst place is WWoC - my 'original paint' Dino got paint damage by them long time ago and they didn't care about that.

    A question,
Would you be confident bringing your car to Steve Arena for belt and clutch services? Or would it be better to go to the dealership? Is there a major price difference?

There is definitely a major price difference. But more important than that is his attention to detail. He is a one man show, so you speak directly to the guy working on your car-no dealer can match that level of customer service. Steve is a factory trained technician on Ferrari and Lamborghini. The best thing for you to do is stop by his shop. One look at all the cars in his shop will definitely make you realise you are in the right place. He is currently working on 3 belt services right now.
