Can anybody recommend a good auto deatailer that can come to my house in Broward County? Thanks, David Hine
Eddy Fiuza 954-415-5170 You can see the great job he did on my car in this post. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=315949
I tried Tom. Ive been trying to get Tom for over a Month. It seems he sold his truck and is no longer in business. He said something about taking the business in a different direction. Im not sure how many directions a car wash business can go in. But thats what he said.
i believe rick bishop is at Black Horse Performance. he performs high quality details. http://www.blackhorseperformance.com/index.html
Eddie Fiuza Is the Man for the Job. He is extremly quilified. When he finished my 430, I didn't want to take it out on the road. But, eventually I did. When the the rain hit the car, ( I live in south Florida) the finish was not affected. All I had to do was to rinse the car and give it a dry. All of the luster and shine was still there.... He is simply amazing
From what I understand, he's no longer doing basic car cleaning (a-la monthly car wash), as there are already plenty of people for that. I believe he's moving towards more high-end full detail jobs like Eddie. He really has an eye and passion for perfection, and there was a disconnect between the time it takes to do so and the cost, so he is going to focus on the intense perfection jobs that people want and are willing to pay for. Oh, and, YESSSSS....... +1 for Rick Bishop as well!! He is another person with amazing abilities to work magic.
Brian @ Aowheels.... just did a 20 hour paint correction and I cannot believe how good it looks. Most meticulous and professional detailer I have ever dealt with.
^^^exactly! Sorry I haven't been on here in a while and I missed this. David I absolutely meant you no respect. You caught me right as I was moving away from the maintenance services (wash/wax), which I initially offered to my detailing customers in an effort to maintaint quality in between details. The maintenance services became too time consuming and took away from the work I am really passionate about and continue to do. Your initial comment about a wash business is exactly the reason I stopped doing it... I was never a car wash business!
Well, thats not competely accurate. I contacted you on September 25th about doing my car. Your response was "The next weekend opening I have is October 15. If you can do a weekday, I have openings starting Tuesday October 4." As of October 20th I had not heard back from you. So I sent you another message on Oct. 20th saying "So, Do you not want to detail my car?" And your response on oct 22nd was "I am moving My business in a different direction though so if you want to get it done I won't have that mobile vehicle much longer. I'll explain more when I see you. Just give me a few dates that work for you and we'll get it set up!" I responded on oct. 23rd with "why dont you give me a few dates your available? and Ill pick one." I waited until Nov. 1st with no reply from you and said "Or you could just ignore me" And on Nov. 1st you replied "Sorry buddy. I've sold that mobile vehicle (as of Sunday night). I still haven't ironed out my new work schedule." If you have a passion for what you do, you must also have a passion for the customers that let you do what your passion is to do.
Correct Incorrect... I sent you a message October 6 saying I had an upcoming weekend opening... To which you never replied. You did contact me like you say and I pointed out how I reached out to you, you didn't reply, and I didn't want to be pushy. You wrote back you found the message I sent you but you missed it. Why would you leave out that critical piece of information in your post? All the other stuff you said is true. I did sell the mobile vehicle and I have moved my business away from the wash/wax maintenance type work you are looking for. I do have a passion for my detailing work and my detailing customers. I tried to earn your business a while back, but you didn't want to be one of my customers. I came to your house Jan 10th last year, took time out of my day to explain my service and my pricing. I even disassembled a heavy piece of water-purification equipment so I could bring it over and help you measure the particles per million of contaminants coming out of your well-sourced tap water and explained how that water was harming your paint finish. You basically told me I was crazy and asked me if I had anything for $50. I apologize for not being man enough to tell you that your initial reaction to what my time and services were worth made me disinterested in chasing after a one-time wash/wax. And I'm not trying to single you out. There are plenty of people who think I am expensive. But there are also plenty of people who see the value in it. I think if you have called any of the detailing experts mentioned in this thread you will find their pricing comparable. Feel free to call me if you think there is anything else I should be apologizing for. I don't think a forum is an appropriate place to resolve anything.
It really upsets me to see two guys that I respect, and that I'm good friends with, go at it like this on a public forum! Knock it off!, It's starting to sound like a cat fight!
Not sure if you settled on someone, but Byron Martin 954-639-1525 came to me (in Parkland). $375 for paint correction on my new to me S600 and maybe $175ish for a full detail on my wife's minivan. He's coming next week to wash both cars for $60. He was very detailed - spent about 15-20 hours on my car and barely took any breaks.
You came here and quoted me a price of around $325.00 to detail a car that had 8500 miles on it. I in no way ever acted like or said you were crazy. You asked me how much I usualy pay and I told you $50.00. If you were disinterested in chasing down a one time wash customer, then why did you continue to send me solicitation messages every couple Months.
Thanks but I found someone already. And I would like to thank Juan Ruiz at Turbo Wax for being very proffesional, showed up the day promised at the time he promised and spent over 7 hours washing waxing and polishing my car. It was a pleasure doing buisness with a great company for a change. No stories, no excuses. And all for $150.00. 7hr for $150! Its highly unlikely that guy covered his costs, and also highly unlikely he actually removed the scratches for that price. That product he used and the pad combo suggest he just filled in the scratches with heavy oils. In short order all that will bleed out of the swirls and you will be left with what you started with. 7hrs for a corrective job on that size car is just not realistic, sorry. If you are truly into needing paint correction I suggest you talk to Todd Helme at Bella Machina Detailing http://belladetailing.com/ in Florida, if he can't do the work (super busy) he will suggest someone that can. Cheers, GREG
I was just looking for a good deatailing. I dont think my car needs paint correction. I was told by Tom at Weston Spa it didnt even need polish. I dont have any scartches besides a minor surface scratch on the hood which is almost impossible to find. You can see it in the pic when he used the microscope thing. The car only has around 12,000 miles on it now.
Any place in this area for paint correction? My 09 Scuderia has a full clear bra, I'm going to remove it entirely (Venture Shield from 3M, bad quality stuff), and switch to Xpel Technologies film, but before I switch to the new clar bra, I want to get paint correction done, then a full car detailing. My car will be 3 years old in 3 months, and I got it detailed before applying the clear bra 3 years ago in California, but no paint correction was done, and the factory doesn't do a good job painting these cars. Thanks
Give Richy a call, if he can't get to you, he'll know who can. Richy is a paint correction master. http://www.richiescustomdetailing.com/ Cheers, GREG
Will any of these detailers travel to Palm Beach County (Palm Beach Gardens specifically) or does someone have a recommendation I can pass along to my father for someone local?
