    The engine will be going back into my 512 tr soon and my mechanic pointed out that the plastic spark plug wire retainer has broken in to several pieces. It looks like that when you by new spark plug wires you get the retainer also. The parts # is 188916 but I only need the retainer. does anyone who has replaced the spark plug wires have the old harness that I could buy from them and salvage the retainer. my wires seem to be ok.

    why not stick together with good glue? or is it so much broken that this would be impossible?
    it looks not so complicated, make one ( or two for both sides ) from aluminum?

    Its broken into multiple pieces and some are missing. Also, the spark plug wire loom is woven thru it so to remove the remaining pieces you have to cut it apart.
