I just checked Kerry's excellent website, and the only 2-headlight listed under $100,000 has already been sold (7777):

I think some of these prices reflect a stronger Euro from a few months ago, along with high seller expectations. But if you want a good 330, these are the asking prices.

    Bump.

I sold my 2+2 and was just thinking how I couldn't afford to buy another one.

    They're too expensive right now.

But I don't think that they will be for very long.

Think the market, at least in Europe has changed.... I would only go for a series 1 car, original design.

It has come time to part with my Series 1 - which is currently being serviced and brought back to proper standards by FastCars in California. PM me for details if interested.

The Monterey auction result was a one-off - no other 330 GT will sell near that range.

SII cars are great--- drive great, reliable, and comfortable. Mine has 186K KM, and starts first time each time even after sitting for weeks. The AC works great, since I rebuilt it with a new larger condenser. and the SII lines are simply beautiful to this owner. I am glad to see them continue to hold their own in the market--- the best part , if you are a person who drives your collectibles, is that you can take the family and others as the rear seat is large roomy and comfortable.. No wonder il Commendatory used it as his daily driver.

It's a fantastic car. The suspension is amazing for a live axle car.

For a car so old, it drives like a modern vehicle. And looks so good.

I made a nice profit. But...

I never thought I could have made nearly this much. Heck, I thought I sold it near the peak of the bubble.

But it doesn't really matter. I had the full experience for a number of years. I simply got a lower price of entry.

And a LOT of Ferraristi before me never realized the full potential money on their cars. Most owners, in fact.

But put yours back together, Art!

    Matt
