Nice to have met you and glad you came out today! I hope you will be a regular. Here's one more pic that I took. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice photos! Sorry I couldn't make it. Was on my way over this morning when the Mondial snapped a water pump belt! Off to the mechanic tomorrow. :-(
Yes. Just started up as normal, but soon heard a slightly odd noise from the back. Checked the engine, which "seemed" ok. But after driving it a block I got some warning lights. Went right back home and took another look. That's when I noticed the belt snapped cleanly. Hoping it's just the belt. But I'm expecting the worst with the potential news that the water pump possibly seized/failed. Frustrating in that I had it changed out only 3 years ago! But we'll see how bad things are when I bring it in. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Remember guys. Ferrari Club of America is invited to Executive Paint Protection in Farmingdale next Sunday for Cars and Coffee and a detailing clinic. Please remember to RSVP and not just show up. It's important that I give these guys a headcount. PM me here or email me. [email protected].
Hey great time. Thanks to the guys at Executive Paint for a great breakfast and very informative morning about detailing.
Yes. Great turnout. Thanks to all who made it. We had a detail clinic with proper washing technique, compounding, polishing, wrap install demo and a clear film install demo. And not to mention a real nice breakfast! Thank you to Andrew and Carl of Executive Paint Protection for hosting us. Bad luck. Good news is that if the pump had frozen you would see melted rubber in the "V" groove on the pulley. It looks clean as a whistle so chances are the belt either was overtightened or just failed due to age.
We will have our usual Bagels and Ferraris meet tomorrow, Labor Day at 9am. Please try to make it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Perfect for Labor day since today was rained out! It will be a beautiful day, so I will see you (and hopefully many others) there! I already spoke to 4 others that can make it.
The special Holiday/Monday F&B gathering was outstanding! Nice seeing everyone again. Had my copilot/co-photographer helping me again today... The weather is looking good for tomorrow. Steve is blocking off spots for us again, see you all there! (whoever isn't going to Bridgehampton)
Is there a 16m owner with the NY License plate "JEM 50" on fchat? Reason I ask is because this car is for sale: https://ferrari355registry.com/registry/2681 The plate is now registered to an '09 16m... would like to ask the owner about his previous 355. If anyone happens to know of an FChat user who has this plate please post! His previous 355 (which I know was his because of the 355 registry) is for sale in CT with a salvage title...
Yes, he's here. He's a great guy. I'll let him know that you are looking to ask him questions if I see him tomorrow.
This Sunday's Bagels and Ferraris cancelled due to Great Marques Concours at Old Westbury Gardens. That's where most of us will be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
