    For a long time I have thought about making a great logo for my site: www.sognidiferrari.com ... BUT I'm not very good in making logos at all. And I have been in doubt if it would look nice... again because I'm not that good with making great looking logos. ;)

    So now I'll try in here.
    What I need is :

    -a logo that will be very easy to recognize again and to remember.
    -a logo that will contain colors that I allready have on my site.
    -it can be fun or very serious to look at.
    -I like simple logos like the ones below (or like the one allready shown in a thread here in off topic called Photoshop People help)...... that with a few simple lines shows a car. But it doesn't nesseccary have to be like these.

    I know I have been crazy about those simple line car logos for a long time, but maybe one of you out there have a great idea that will make me go WOW!!! :):)

    The winner will get two prints of my charcoal art. You choose which ones you like the most. You can see them at my site: www.sognidiferrari.com under the section ART... at the bottom of the page.

    (There WILL be a winner no matter if I end up using the logo or not. I will pick the one I like the most!! (That is if there will be some serious examples and not only jokes;);) ))

    I really hope you can help me :)
    So let's see what you guys can come up with... I know there are a lot of serious great artists in here!!!! :)

    Thanks :) I know this isn't an easy thing to do, and that maybe noone will be up for the challenge :)
    Well IF the winner don't like my prints, that's okay, he can choose a virtual hug instead ;):D Unfortunately I do not have much else to offer ;)

    Here is my so called 'entry' !

    Sorry If I ramble on for a bit in the concept, I just like to let people know the stories behind certain typefaces as they are merely not just 'Fonts' ! Anyway, hope you like it. Im not usually in to the whole loose and free hand logo, but I thought this would be a good time to experiment! I tried to make the shape of the GTO as true as possible whilst retaining the initials S + F. I think I managed to achieve a sweet middle. Cheers.

    Hi Axel :) I LOVE the GTO and I really like this logo. Can I get you to try and put it on this backgroundcolor?? R127 G16 B9 (the color below).
    And maybe let the line in the S that forms the rear of the GTO to go up a liiittle bit further? And the F, front fender to make a higher softer curve like the fender does?? :)
    Tell me if I'm too much!!! :D Maybe I can try it myself if you have the original file.... If you don't have so much time yourself :)

    Its quite difficult to get the freehand thing happening whilst staying true to the curves of the original car. I think the logo seeks to be an abstraction rather than contrived.

    But I more than happy to provide with the .AI file if you wish to have a go at it yourself. Not really used to letting go of my designs though!

    Alex don't give me the .AI file if you feel it's wrong for you! :)
    But if I end up picking yours, can I then have the two leayers seperated, so I can change colors? :)
    I like it now with more "tail" and fender :)

    Its not prob! Hope you end up picking me anyway, because I'd love an art print of yours!

    And you can have the file no prob, I was just kidding around. Its in vector format, but if you use photoshop I can turn it into layers for Ye.

    I have both Illustrator and Photoshop CS... so no problem what kind of file it is :) As long as I can adjust the colors ;)
    Well let's see in a few days if more competitors appears in here ;)

    The Logo will be in the left side of the topborder... så maybe flip it horisontally... But really like that one too!! :)
    Maybe the text SogniDiFerrari should somehow be more integrated in the logo... or further away? I'm not sure :):)

    Edit: or maybe me wanting it to be in the left side isn't a good idea... ;)
