http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/news/US/EN,contentid=12020,crid=34 The Logitech G25 Racing Wheel is compatible with current racing titles, such as rFactor and Live for Speed, as well as several other PC racing titles currently in development. The wheel can also be used with any PlayStation®2 game that is compatible with other Logitech force-feedback wheels, including the Logitech® Driving Force and Logitech® Driving Force Pro. Its suggested retail price in the U.S. is $299.99 & will be available this fall. I'll wait to see the pedals & shift gate sequence / set up before I make a judgment, but so far it has my attention. Looks nice ... Only one small issue I can see is that the gated shifter would support only 6 forward gears - may be an issue for GT4 - (BMW M5 and the F1 car) as well as PC F1 sims.
It does. You are sold. I am sold. I'm actually going to buy two (yes, really). Multiplayer will OWN because I know very few of my friends can drive a proper stick!
I'll have to try it before I give up my trusty Momo Red.. I bet I could get enough for the Red on eBay to pick up the new Logi.. Todd
Damn thats really nice except it would be useless for me. I use all 6 buttons on my momo. I was hoping to buy something new eventually too. Were using r-factor with limpindog's F1 champions mod in our league this year. Man I wish it had more buttons.
I had a Logitech MOMO too. I loved it just as much as you love yours, had mine for 2 years. I still bought a DFP and I didn't like it at all, I wanted to return it and actually packed it back into the box to sell. I gave it one last shot to make sure I wanted to sell it and I started to get used to it and LOVED it. I haven't even gone back to try my MOMO again, it's on a shelf in my closet and has been since the week I bought the DFP. I now use my DFP almost daily. Don't buy a DFP, though, it won't be worth ditching your MOMO for just a few months to have to buy another one again. Wait for the G25; buy it and you'll love it. I promise!
Here's the official xbox 360 wheel, not as impressive but most likely less expensive. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
