Taz, take it easy, recover well, go for some soothing Autumn drives in your 575, look after yourself. Avoid looking at the irritating stuff on this board. After which, come back, we miss you!
Nasty. For what it's worth, my father got over 30 years out of his bypass (but passed away due to issues unrelated to his heart!). Our family has a horrible history of heart problems, but modern medicine has given them long lives. As I'm sure they've told you, recovery isn't so speedy for this kind of thing, so I wish you good spirits during this rather lengthy process.
Good thing is I don't remember any having pain afterwards except for the leg where they harvested a vein for the bypass and ya get to have all the ice cream ya want...... Whoops, no...that's for tonsils, ....sorry
