I'd be happy if they just had a normal rake and trail.

I think they realized their target (audience) has shifted......not so many younger types 'into' the macho Harley style.......if they can catch the wave of gen-xer's and into millennials, they can survive.
They have caught the attention of the EV guys on a couple of other websites and are getting positive comments.

yes, without a big product lineup change, demographics will be very unkind to Harley.

I like the 975 street fighter - it’s what they should have done with a Buell and the V-Rod motor.

    The LiveWire is nice too.

The light on the ADV is ridiculous. Maybe they can co-brand it with Weber grills. The super thin and wide seat illustrates that they still don't really know what they are doing.

Yea it’s weird but those types of bikes don’t appeal to me whatsoever, so I’m indifferent.

Harley style has always been...odd. They do cruiser class perfect, but most attempts at “sport” are hackneyed. The VR1000 - which I love - was still a little old school in the crowd of Japanese sport bike racers.

Harley should be building a tracker, a style they practicaly invented but never produced, and its a style thats also now hot.
They shoudl also be building cafe racers, another hot style.
Both these styles fit within Harleys neo classic or modern classic zeitguist, are hot with younger people and can be built of a lot of existying hardware..

Look at Triumph, they have practicaly abandoned Modern styled bikes to the Itlians and Japaneze, they do classic styling in many guises, as should harley.
If Harley had a clue Indian would never has prospered.

As for makign small bikes, eitehr youre a premium brand or not, in this case its goign to be the or not.

The electrics may well work out., Harley has the R&D to do it right and its a whole new ballgame there so why not harley.

The Adventure bike is so ugly, like bad 70s design I dont see it going anywhere, nor do I think the harley vtwin is a good mtor for this application.

the streetfighter, is this a streetfighter for more mature gents? It looks nice, is the motor a performace vtwin or a classic vibratey harley one? Theyl sell a few, but why would I buy a harley in this category.

Once again i think Indian does it so rigth with their scout and scout bobber, modern bikes thta ride well and appeal to younger folks. They'l have a knockout with the tracker.

    I think you’re spot on.
Coming in from the outside to make an Adventure bike with Ducati, bmw and KTM already making brilliant ones? No way.

Going into the street fighter arena with so many, too many good bikes? Nada.

Maybe the Harley plan for these bikes is for ROW?
