Entertaining to watch but not for me either. It is much the younger crowd that do this. (We are old farts! )
Hell, I was about 20 when the whole Fast and Furious riceboy craze thing was big, and I thought it was dumb as hell too then.
IF I have two 360s (one gated and F1), I won't hesitate doing this to the F1 because it's more sporty. These cars if equipped with LB Performance package as well could very well smoke our 360 and 430s. But I only have one so that's that.
The yellow 360 is interesting. A gated car!...modified for drifting with an extended hand brake so you can grab the handle forward of the shifter gate! I like the new shapes that their body work creates but a little too impractical for my taste.

Everybody is so boring and everyone keeps beating a dead horse ! This has been discussed over and over about these kits , along with the Ultimate Motorcars kits , and it's the same results......i'm gonna throw up , i'm gonna vomit , ricer boy status , it's like painting over the Mona Lisa , etc. It's not the Mona Lisa , it's a car....and these people are in business because there is an actual want for their product so if you don't like it , don't buy it.....but people don't need to have the "you kids get off my lawn" old man mentality . I wish the higher ups could create a "Modified Ferrari" section on this site to let the ones that are interested have the ability to look and discuss possible upgrades without the 90% of negativity that goes along with Ferrari owners and their "Pininfarina would not want us to touch their sacred vehicle" attitudes . WOW....Rant over but i had to get that out because it gets old logging in here to see all the negativity about modifications ! Flame suit on.....let's hear it !
These LBs are actually nice and I wouldn't hesitate to consider if my 360 is still F1. I'm guessing the acceptable mods that you might be referring to (forgive me if I'm wrong) are stradale wheels, challenge grills and probably stradale body kit. These are not mods but factory upgrades. I believe Jason's (Bad430Benz) gripe is how the the community negatively reacts to modifications that are not factory option or factory upgrade. To the admins, I would second the request / suggestion to create a modified section and not a mock thread like "Interesting modifications..." thread we already have here. This new section can open-up some playroom for owners who are open with mods to share their interest and not get flamed or discouraged. Like in the 360 / 430 page, a subpage options of Modified and Stock (including stock modifications) to start IMHO.
Only problem is that something "looking good" to you might not be looking good to someone else . This is the main reason i thought a "modified" section would be ideal and it would keep those threads separate from all the "gated vs. f1" , "what tire should i buy" and "what's this car worth" threads that show up more often than not . As a person that highly modifies my vehicles , it's nice to be able to see options grouped together instead of one thread per page , or two pages , that show different styles and mods .
Exactly ! I belong to MBWORLD and EXPLORERFORUM and both of those have modified sections . Where MBWORLD has the AMG sections , which are regularly used for modification threads , EXPLORERFORUM has the 5TH GEN section and the Modified 5TH GEN below that . If an Explorer forum can have a modified section , why shouldn't a Ferrari forum ???
Sorry these just plain suck and are as ugly as it gets no need for a flame suit, these are just ugly and beyond what is aesthetically pleasing. Just because someone can does not mean they should.
You are allowed to like and dislike as you please but these guys have been in this business for 5 years doing this and are still going strong so that means there is a market for it . Good thing for them , they didn't design this business model around the opinions of the FerrariChat community Just another reason why there should be a "MODIFIED" section .
I’m all for it. I wish every owner would add a bunch of ugly mods so the value of mine would go up! Proof that money can buy a lot of things, but not good taste.
