The mclaren this year was very comparable to the Ferrari. And kovalainen the same year discovered how it was difficult to have a talented British teammate in a purely British team.
You have been misinformed, better start reading some old f.1 books and magazines...not that old, justo go back to 94/95 season...
If I had the same deep pockets, you can bet that my car collection would be way better than Hamilton's. Still, I'd be as moron as now that I'm poor, so I don't get your point.
About the video, he's just stating the obvious: that we shouldn't take someone's opinions seriously just because he's famous. Unfortunately, this is a quite common mistake in our society.
An interesting point of view. I'll save the moral relativism discussion for the P&R section, but at least we agree hamilton is a hypocrite.
In 2008 the duo Massa/Räikkönen was strong. Both with differents driving style but close to each other's. Same level. Hamilton was already something else ( ktu enjoy) and kovalainen the weakest of all 4. Honestly the Mclaren and the Ferrari were comparable this year but the luck was on the Hamilton side with the massa engine failure in Hungary and the crashgate in Singapore. Massa could have been a legit WDC.
Honestly people.... really we need to bring stuff "out the sport" here??? I think this forum is for a chat about F1 but not for extra sports activities. I do not think Hamilton is an idiot but after watching the video I think the author needs a hobby, a life, or a girlfriend. Please, I suggest don't bring here other than a sport; if you want to chat about politic or religion or how corporations use high media guys to spread an idea, this is not the place
Honestly, we are here to discuss whatever we like, as long as it's not forbidden. Drivers personality are part of the reason we like or dislike them....And since the FIA and Liberty decided to destroy the sport, we better find something else to talk about, otherwise i might as well close the f.1 section, because the racing part of it is already dead...at least for another year.
Hamilton is not a religious figure (apart for the few delusional here) or a politician. Don’t take part Karen
Bottom line is he can do whatever he wants with the money he’s earned—doing what he does best—but leave the pontificating on the environment (and other causes) to those who are the best at what THEY do. The fact that his lifestyle does not exactly lend itself to being eco-friendly is not debatable so he should just drive and keep his environmental concerns to himself or do something real to fix the problem.
Honestly i admire him as a driver, he is very skilled. His false personality is a disgrace even to blacks people with all those stereotypes of which he is the flag-bearer.
You must not forget that Felipe Massa retired the 2008 Hungarian GP when he was winning with only 2 laps to go with broken engine. With that victory Felipe Massa would have easily been the 2008 champion.
Ahhhh, but in racing there are no "if only's" or "would've if could've". Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
He is a hypocrite. Not an idiot. Because he knows what he is doing. Playing his brand. He made his money through all of what he is complaining about today. Was privileged. Was groomed by Mclaren which was never known to be progressive or diverse or environmental friendly. Made money while racing cars that burn gas and pollute more over a week end than you will in a month. Flies around the world in a private jet 20/50 times a year. Has multiple houses that are energy guzzlers as well as oppressive to poor people. Sponsored by Hugo Boss and Mercedes that made a lot of money through Nazism. Now that he is secure financially, he can pretend to care about these issues so that he does not get canceled eventually. Well played.
Who cares? He is entitled to be himself, as we all are. And you don't have to like him or what he says. Just let him be. At best, he's a sports personality, and one of the best active F1 drivers currently in the sport. Aren't we all hypocrites when we look at ourselves? People on this website complain about all the Lewis/Mercedes content, threaten to quit following the sport, and yet jump on an obvious baiting topic to comment/like! You can't have it both ways - unless you're a hypocrite. Meanwhile in the F1 World, Sebastian earned 6 points points this weekend to bring his haul to-date to 16 (which for context, is equivalent to 1 third place!), and put him in 11th place in the standings, and Ferrari in 5th place. After 6 races. As a Ferrari fan, this should concern/interest me more than what Lewis thinks, eats, is wearing. And now back to regular scheduled programming...
And accuses the other drivers of being racist because they refuse to kneel. He is the magnificent symptom of a sick time.
No some here are trying to impose a story that is not reality. this is a Ferrari forum and people are here to share their passion. As gentlemans and not propagandists.
I agree, they have found comfort in his off track criticism, but let them be. They need it during these years of constant Hamilton beat down.
Can you pick out any other driver on the grid that fits Lewis's "hustle" regarding the video. I can't.
