Let's spec the Pista

White with Italian flag color stripes. Black alcantera interior with flag color trim. Cf wheels. Done.

 

Well if I recall, the bumpers and front hood are all carbon fiber. So I wonder if Ferrari would do a bare carbon fiber car...and if they do I wonder if they would do bare blue carbon with a two blue paint to match..just thinking out loud

Like you, I have never had a red car and the videos/pictures of the Pista looks awesome. If Red then which one? I have long lusted over the triple layer paints but thus far have talked myself out of it. Russo Fucco or Maranello would be great choices.
My other contenders are yellow plain or 3 layer with black NART and Azzuro Dino with white/yellow NART. Given the car character, I will def do the NART stripe.
I think the front carbon lip is a must, sport sills not sure, rear will need to be carbon too. Diffuser is more prominent so might have to be in CF too
Inside, the Alcantara in the pictures look great, thinking the color highlights will be plenty to smarten the interior but will definitely go for Matt carbon finish including doors as they have redesigned and it looks good.
Assuming a likely $315-25k starting price all of the above going to hurt, $400k Pistas might well be the norm and that's likely to be low...
In any case, Atelier visit is a must, if only just to drool over the car in the room.
Challenge64 is in a different league with TM of course, I can only dream

For the 488 Pista I may come back to red (of my past Ferrari only the 348 TB and testarossa were red, others have been Nero / Argento Nurburgring / Nero Daytona, and my 488 GTB is Grigio Silverstone).
I also think a stripe is a must on the 488 Pista.

I will go with ROSSO TRS with NART stripes blu/white, externally will be very similar to the car showed in the private preview that I really love!!

Carbon for front lips/wings, air ducts and rear diffuser.....must! As well as carbon rims, most probably painted in gold....I dont like black wheel IMHO....but must be seen in person first

Interior: since I already used Peccary for my 488 Spider, I will use Alcantara dark blu and matt carbon

Of course everything can be changed during tailor-made session

I’m with you on the reds. Might do Rosso Maranello again. I want to see Rosso Focco in person...definitely an option. I’m eager to see the spec of Geneva car.

Ok need to get this off my chest to an audience that (might?) understand. My concern with the Rosso Fucco is it might clash w my RM 488. There said it. Carry on.

If I did deviate from that, it would be this color. When I was at Casa Ferrari at Pebble Beach last August, Ferrari had an 812 Superfast on display in this amazing shade - Rosso 70th Anniversary. Apologies for the photos. I took screen images of the video I shot of the car. I don’t have a whole image of the it.

To me it’s a richer, slightly darker Rosso Corsa. I’m not even certain one can get it now. I’ve never seen another car in this color. Love it.

We might all be biased towards red given the pictures released os far but it does look awesome, lean/ mean and suits the car perfectly.
Black Alcantara, red accents, Matt carbon, inside is easy.

Outside: red/nNART/carbon galore/ Standard wheels in black/ Shields. I might not be adventurous enough for gold wheel but some great combo out there in red/gold/NART

Calipers yellow otherwise red not the same...Then again would be my third F car with yellow calipers...How about Gold calipers?

 

Talking interior - when I was at the dealer reveal, my dealer assumed that leather will be an option (as opposed to Alcantara). Also, if 3D material is an option does that interest you? Which will you opt for? Or maybe a combination.

 

I am a sucker for launch colour/spec. I will see the car in Geneva and IF I get an allocation I am inclined to go with whats presented (with a few minor mods). My argument is that Ferrari launch a car in the most appropriate spec - why wouldn't they.

 

Because they may have different tastes - I really didn't like the "launch wheels" of the 812, I far prefer the standard wheels, or the tdf ones.

 

Rosso Mugello or Rubino would look good, in my opinion. That being said, I'd go for Argento Nurburgring or maybe Titanio Opaco. No stripes. Not sure about the wheels, definitely need to see the launch cars in Geneva.

Should be the bespoke color made for Sam Li's first F12 TRS (TRS = TestaRossa Sam). Could be wrong, of course.

it is an amazing color...IMHO (16.000€+tax in eu)

For my spec I guess I'm thinking about rosso fuoco with the stripe, probably black and grigio ferro or canna di fucile I have to see it.
Gold calipers with standard dark grey wheels and all carbon fiber options. the interior probably charcoal alcantara with maybe boardaux stiching and horses.

 

Bianco fuji with nart stripe, Cf steering wheel + leds, black interior white contrast stitching, cf race seats, yellow calipers scuderia shields, cf wheels in gold

 

Reveal car has a mix of alcantara/tech fabric, looks nice and unique to the Pista. Might do some red colored fabric in the seats but the red stripe works well.
Red highlight in the dash is really cool, had previously seen it only on TM cars but great way to contrast Matt carbon/alcantara

The new Rosso Portofino looks like a combo of maranello and fuoco. It looks amazing and I think it will be the color of my next car. There are some great videos in 4K from a recent show. Either that or a custom TM grey that was spec’d in a Tdf here. Not sure in stripe color but if grey I’d likely do a Bianco Fuji and TDF blue stripe.

 

Blu Le Mans or Scozia, no stripe, carbon wheels, yellow brakes, Horse badge front and back in black, Tailor Made tricolore the air intakes on the sides.

Interior I'd have in charcoal alcantara with light grey stitching Tacho in either white or yellow
