Could you give a brief summary? I've always been interested to know. I tried reading from owners' on Rennlist, but it gets old having to dig through arguments of people complaining about what Porsche did/didn't do to 911R values or personal preferences from people who own one but not the other. It's difficult to find info from someone who actually owns both.
Not as fancy as the others here. But you should see the three car-seats in the rear. Total chick-magnet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I assume you’re asking how the two drive differently. The R feels lighter on its feet, steering feels lighter and revs a bit quicker, could be due to the SMFW. Touring feels a bit tighter, more planted. Similar cars but R feels more lively.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the TDF VS the GTO. Our GTO is just my absolute favorite but I have yet to drive a TDF.
TDF accelerates much faster, shifts faster because of the double clutch tranny, handles tighter, sounds more aggressive than the GTO. They are really very different driving experiences. I still love my GTO and the way it shifts, looks and sounds, will always remain a classic and special car.
Also my recent replacement daily. Down to just two cars, well I have a third junker (maroon thing behind) which was temporary and will be passed in shortly. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had a professional photographer take photos of my cars and hired a graphic designer to create the images for the wall print, acrylics and metal prints.
