    Wouldn't polishing the covers actually do more harm to the engine? I thought engine cover paint was special for heat distribution. Of course i could be dead wrong.

    The crinkle paint is supposed to help dissipate heat, but the 'polished' pieces on the 360 appear to be carbon fiber intakes and polished aluminum air filter boxes. There should not be a heat problem with those engine parts.
