    May seem like a random thread but I love these cars and I actually think they are the most beautiful, and classiest cars around. I know Merc had their lowpoints in terms of quality, but they seem to be getting back on top! So lets see them!

    I also think they make a great everyday driver companion with Ferraris.

    Maybe some with your Ferrari next to it.

    that car is stupid fast! how is it as a DD...handling/ride compromise, fit and finish, space, etc. the only thing I wasn't sure about with that car is the lack of rear seat leg room with those giant front seats.

    Yes, it's stupid fast. It's a great daily driver & gets ~17mpg (when driven "reasonably"). Best part is its "soundtrack" from the 6.2L when the throttle blips under braking. Sounds almost like a stock car. Only downside is the tire wear -- only getting ~6K out of the rears. As far as rear leg room -- who cares (since I'm sitting up front)! Seriously, it's capable of seating 4 adults. Really glad I upgraded from the C55 as the C63 is a MUCH better car overall.

    This is called "showroom" in "general forums," so technically there is nothing incorrect about this thread being here.

    I enjoy looking at the cars, but if a moderator feels this thread should be removed, that's fine.

    My Mercedes
    280SL 69,000 miles The engine spec calls for 104 octane gas, now detuned for 93 + lead additive. The hard top has not been on in 20 years, which is very heavy to maneuver. Huge steering wheel with aluminum doors, trunk and hood

    300SL 42,000 miles great summer car. Like all MBs, the car starts off in 2nd, which slows it acceleration. I run the gearshift while accelerating. The car automatically shifts at its 7000 redline.

    S350 Diesel 60,000 miles The diesel gets 30+ mpg on the road with 750+ miles/tank. Not the quickest car on the road but will cruises nicely at 90.

    The other 2 cars are just toys especially the Lotus 7
