LED interior lights / license plate lights

I have tried in the interior which i picked up from hongkong and costed me like £1 for 2 but the number plate ones are a bit tricky cos when i replaced them the dash kept showing a error and fault so i took them out and went back to original ones

 

I bought this kit for my 458 Italia and it Works well.

You can see the huge difference in the Pictures Attached.

The only problem is that the Licence plate lights gives error Message on the display but you can fix this by adding another resistor in-line. The dealership would have to do it. Adding more resistors to the bulbs would cause heat issues and burn the LED out.

The Owner's manual (attached) is incorrect for dome lamp change. Attached is the correct procedure.

All interior and trunk bulbs can be changed for LED with no issues. The incandescent external bulbs can cause errors if they are changed to LEDs, with too low a current being drawn hence the bulb monitor system thinking a bulb has blown.

I just bought a set in white and in red from tunerdomes
I will put the white bulbs in the interior of the car and the red ones in the puddle
lights in the doors (they will match well with my led engine lights ).
I also bought their license plate led's let's see if they throw an error code..
if they do I will cancel it out with my ever-present obdII reader haha

Where did you pick up the OBD2 reader? Like to use one.

 

This will read and clear F codes, no idea on the vendor:

Any Autozone or similar shop will sell them, mine cost about $30,

You welcome! I managed to change all of the bulbs by myself, but had to get help from the dealer for the Dome Lights. There are two screws that holds the "dome cover" in Place that needs to be screwed out.

I tried following the instructions in the manual at first for the dome light removal, but the instructions are wrong. The Dome.Pdf Attached by rjn21 is the right one.

 

I have changed all interior lights to LED's, they are all bright white color except for the puddle lights in the doors which are fire red to match the engine bay red LED's and the color of the car:
Look fantastic and no error codes.
Have yet to replace the license plate lights and am waiting for the error canceling lights from
tunerdomes.

I went to the website and saw you can change interrior light to red. Does anyone have a of the car with the red led's turned on. Does it look good on a rossa corsa car?

 

I have the tunerdome LEDs in the whole interior of my rosso corsa Italia, they are all bright white color except for the door puddle lights which are fire red. Not sure how good the interior would look with all red LED's, even on a rosso corsa car

 

Yes I know: you can contact David Delaney @ tunerdomes and tell them you want the pictured bulbs license plate bulbs, these should not throw an error code, I will get them installed and let you know.
