Hello: A neighbor asked me if I knew of a place that can repair is leather seat. He has worn a hole in his seat bolster and scuffed the driver's side door. My guess (I haven't seen the seat) is that he may just need one leather panel replaced on the seat and a new door card for the door. Can anyone recommend a shop in the Far North Dallas area? (We live in Frisco.) His vehicle needing the repair is a newish Audi SUV, if that matters. (I think that it's an Audi -- it's not a cool sports car so I've never really paid attention...) Thanks! --Jeremy
I am picking my car up today from Tin Lizzy Affair in NE Dallas. Located at 635 and 75. It looks like they do great work and work on all kinds of cars. They were highly recommended to me and I have been watching the progress and been very pleased. I'll know more in a couple of hours.
I've also heard nothing but good things about Tin Lizzy, but have never used them. I have seen the work on a friends Testarossa though, it was very well done. Don, what did you have done?
Tin Lizzie is great. They did awesome work on three of my cars. Not cheap, but well worth the money. Ask for Ms. Howard who is the owner. (972) 234-3791
Yes, Tin Lizzie is the place to go for leather and leather repair. For sure. The number is in the post above.
I now have the car back after three looooong weeks. I had the whole interior redone. Seats, carpet, center console, doors... I am very pleased with the quality of materials and work. But, as previously posted, I got a little sticker shock with the invoice. Come on out to Boardwalk next weekend if you want to see the big reveal!
Don, it was good to hear you let Lucinda and her crew do your work. Yep, they are a little pricey but I do not believe anyone else in the area could have done as good a job. They did all our work for us when the Ferrari of Dallas store was on 75 in Richardson. Never had a complaint. They did many a 355 instrument cluster cover..........along with total interiors..... I even had them cut down the padding on a Vespa seat so the well known shorter rider of it could reach the ground safely. Small job but ended up great........ I remember you showed me the areas you wanted to have redone. I bet the car looks great. It looked really good before........Enjoy.......
